The untapped power of hiring workers with disabilities
Rich Donovan, a former Wall Street trader living with cerebral palsy, and author of Unleash Different: Achieving Business and Success through Disability, encourages companies to hire more people with disabilities – not as an act of charity, but in order to enhance the company’s profitability. According to Donovan, there are more than six million Canadians who identify as having a disability, and this group controls $55.4 billion in disposable income.
