LOCAL 5277 IDENTITY

The Local 5277 logo exemplifies the inherent pride and unity felt by members of Union Marketing Employees. Boasting a maple leaf design that is not only a modern take on a Canadian classic, but the physical representation of how Local 5277’s creativity and energy is literally bursting from the circular core.

The charter number assigned to the local consists of three 7s when the 5 and 2 are combined. Three 7s are historically significant and fortunate numbers. The number 7 is reflected in the design further by the repetition of the leaf symbol 7 times. Local 5277 members have viewed our charter number as a sign of positive changes in the future for our Local members and for the labour movement and designed this logo as a unit to emulate these views.
