Ontario adds nurses to the work-related PTSD presumption under Workplace Safety and Insurance Act

The Ontario government passed an amendment to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, making it easier for nurses and front-line healthcare workers to access WSIA benefits. Under the amendment, these workers join emergency response workers and police as occupations not needing causal link to PTSD and a workplace event to receive benefits.
